Can you tell me when my bare-rooted roses will arrive?
Bare-rooted roses ship during July to the End of August. We cannot give an estimate on when your order will arrive but it will arrive within this time frame. We ask that customers please be patient as your order will arrive by the end of August.*
*As certain varieties of roses are processed at different times it makes it hard to give an accurate estimate on when your order will be shipped. We try to process all orders in the order they are received but some times this is not achievable due to digging/processing of varieties being different. We guarantee that your order will be shipped within the time frame above. If there is to be a delay outside of our control we will notify you as soon as possible.
When are roses available?
We only ship roses as bare-rooted stock during winter. We will offer potted stock occasionally depending on stock levels. Visit us at one of the many rare plant fairs throughout the year if you would like to purchase potted roses outside of the winter period.
When will my perennial order ship?
All perennial orders will ship within 15 business day after receiving your order. Please take into account public holidays/weekends. Perennials will be sent out all year round. Orders may be delayed during warmer weather. Please allow between 4-6 weeks for delivery in summer. We will only send orders when the weather is cool enough to transport plants. Orders will be filled strictly in order of receipt. All parcels will be sent via Australia Post. Perennials ordered during the dormant months of winter will be sent if we deem the plants suitable to send, otherwise we will hold the plants we deem unsuitable to send until we feel they are appropriate to send (This will not incur any additional shipping charges). Most dormant plants we ascertain will be available for shipping from late October to mid November.
*Please note if you place a large order we may split your order into 2 or more deliveries. We will inform you if we are planning to split your order.
What size pots are perennials in?
All our perennials are potted into 100mm Maxi Pots, 67mm Olive Pots or 125mm Pots. These pots give a bigger more established plant. It is listed on each item which pot size they are potted in.*
*You will be able to select the pot size you desire on each product page when adding an item to your cart.
Please note we are only just starting to introduce more established plants in 125mm pots and these will take time before they filter through to the website for sale.
When will my peony order ship?
Peonies are only sent as bare-rooted stock from early June to the end August. From September on all peonies will ship as potted stock. You can order peonies at any time and depending on the time of year will determine how they are sent.*
*Please note pre-order bare-rooted peonies will ship in the order they are received. We will try to get pre-orders out as quick as possible but it is hard to give an estimate on delivery dates with bare-rooted stock. You will receive your order within the bare-rooted time frame mentioned above. If there is any delay outside of our control we will notify you as soon as possible as to when your order will be dispatched.
What happens if my order is mixed?
If your order is mixed and contains bare-rooted products and perennials your whole order will be shipped with the bare-rooted products. If you would like to receive the perennials on your order prior to the bare-rooted products please contact us on 0447 316 643 to arrange this. Splitting your order will incur additional shipping charges.
An easy alternative is to place separate orders for your perennials and bare-rooted products.
Mixed orders during the bare-root season will be sent as 1 consignment during the last week of August (This will give the perennials time to recover from the winter period).
Split orders will not ship until the additional shipping charges are paid.
